TRK Prairie Flower was the last calf of the 2014 season, but definitely worth the wait!  The color on this heifer is outstanding and is destined to turn a dark Parker brown or black like her parents.  The horn growth we are seeing on this girl at a young age is very exciting as it is some of the best we have seen in our calves.  They have an extreme backward angle to them and twists at the tip, hinting at what may make for a beautiful set of handle bars.  Although not extremely thick bodied, we feel she has feminine features that will go well with her color and horn potential.  She has been put with our bull, TRK Safari's Supernova, for her first calf in Spring 2017.

Prairie's Sire is out of the impressive Red McCombs breeding program known for high quality, big horned cattle.  His Dam sold for over $40,000 at the Legacy Sale.  Her Dam has some awesome lineage as well, she is out of Carla Payne's breeding program and goes back to Boomerang CP.
