NTLBA Spring Show - Glen Rose, TX
3/15/2015

This was our third year attending the NTLBA Spring Show. It was a last minute decision to go as we had originally planned to attend the Stillwater, OK show as our March outing. But, due to Senior Prom being scheduled for that weekend, we had to make some adjustments to our schedule.
It turned out to be a nice weekend away from the cold, rainy weather of East Texas. We were happy to see a substantially larger turn-out and to see most of our Longhorn friends. Tud's girlfriend, Kaylan, and her mother made the long trip to come and watch the show and it was nice to visit with them throughout the day.
The two females did not place as well as we would have liked, both ending up at the bottom of their classes. But, Tud's steer placed 4th out of 9 in a very impressive class of steers. We were very excited about that!
This was our last Longhorn show of the season until World Show and Autobahn in June. Next up, Wood County Junior Market Show in April, where Tud exhibits and sells his final commercial beef heifer.
